Dimitrios V. Peponis

Dimitris V. Peponis was born in Athens in 1987. He received the B.S. degree in Physics (2011)  and Msc degree in “Radio Electronics“ (2014) from National and Kapodistrian University of Athens,Greece. He is currently a PhD Candidate in the Faculty of Physics of same University in the area of “Study of interaction phenomena of electromagnetic waves and electron beam in composite waveguiding structures”.

In May 2011 he joined Microwave and Optics Applications Group , Faculty of Physics, National Kapodistrian University of Athens, as an undregraduate student researcher in the field of numerical analysis and simulation of high frequency electrodynamic structures. His work is focused on study and usage of numerical methods to study propagating characteristics in waveguiding structures. His research interests include simulation and modeling of high frequency, high power microwave structures, development, usage and study of numerical methods in electromagnetics as well as applications of them in RF backbone communication systems.
