The Microwave and Optics Applications Group is housed in Building V of the Department of Physics of the National Kapodistrian University of Athens. It owns laboratory equipment for:
- the measurement of RF fields and signals
- the measurement of standing waves in waveguides
- the measurement of antennas
For the needs of numerical simulation of electromagnetic devices, it is equipped with several computer systems (servers και workstations) with a large total computing capacity. In addition it has access to large HPC machines, like CINECA-Marconi and GRNET-ARIS.
